James Hardie Brief: To create a cohesive, striking and informative permanent exhibition space to showcase James Hardie products in a large space within Queensland’s Design & Build Centre. Solution: Naming the space 'Home Design Hub' establishes it as a dynamic place for home design ideas, primarily in the domestic space. Branded lightboxes illuminate the space, while a wall of infographics sits alongside product information and actual product installations to give a good understanding of the company and the merits of its products.

Garvan Institute Brief: To produce a special invitation and program for the opening of the Kinghorn Cancer Centre in Darlinghurst. Solution: Simple understated design using the bright blue of Kinghorn's branding colour palette. Emboss of the logo was used on both Invitation and program, using premium textured paper stock. North produces a variety of premium invitations and event collateral for both the Garvan Institute and the Garvan Research Foundation.

Garvan Brief: To create branding and promotional material for the regional event 'Cancer in the Community', a program aimed at informing rural communities about Cancer. Solution: The look-and-feel used a rustic colour palette and a bold illustrative approach. Event collateral included posters, advertising, banners and an informative z-card (below) as a take home piece from the events.

Solution: A beautifully gift wrapped pair of wine glasses were delivered with the promise of a highly coveted bottle of Grange Hermitage to those who completed the survey. Our client was most impressed with the 40% response rate.

James Hardie Range of invites for special events targeted to architects and builders.

James Hardie Brief: Develop a range of durable POS displays for the James Hardie accessories range for a major group of hardware stores Australia-wide. Solution: Our solution required segmenting the stores by the range of accessories they stocked and then devising a range of displays to accommodate the ranges stocked including developing planograms for displaying the products. We also arranged manufacture and distribution of over 100 steel stands and developed detailed assembly instructions so the stands which are almost 3m tall could be safely assembled in store.
